I love your description of Arthur and Merlin's kiss. And I was wondering how you would write Arthur being whipped from his point of view. It could have just as easily gone in the direction of overkill, with him going on about how much it hurt, and while he would definitely be entitled to that, it wouldn't be the most interesting thing to read. And it could have gone in the other direction where he is in too much pain to think about anything, which is again, not that interesting to read. But I think you did a really great job of exploring his thoughts throughout the whole chapter. I can't wait to read the next one. I think I've read the Merlin PoV of that chapter like five times now. Apparently I have a thing for Arthur H/C.
