Ahem, on that note, I can't wait to see where you take this. The concept of mutants fits really well with Uther's hatred of magic on the show. One of my favourite parts of the X-Men series is how they address issues of hatred and prejudice through the (admittedly blatant)metaphor of actual mutation. It opens up so many intriguing ethical questions about what it means to be human. I see that you're basing your fic off the movies, which are also delightful, and so I already have all these exciting guesses about what is going to happen.
