Well, I can't say I agree with the "not posting pictures of under-6-year-olds" as I'm sure is evident on my journal. ;o) But no, you don't owe reviewers (or anyone else online) anything at all. Writing fic is for the writer and PERHAPS the reader's benefit, but that is NOT a given. Posting fic so others can enjoy it too is a priviledge for them, not a right.
Asking for pictures of anyone else, you always run the risk of getting a no. No sense getting all butt-hurt over it.
