That's an interesting idea, actually. Taking bits from all of the legends and sort of...smushing them all togetherm with their own spin on things. Which is pretty much what's been happening ever since the legends showed up, although I doubt many people see it that way.
I guess if they were really close friends and Hunith knew about Gaius' magic, that'd be enough. Who knows? I'm really hoping for some backstory for the adults - maybe a flashback episode? - but something tells me they'll be mean and avoid that one. Pity, I'd love to see Arthur's mum and how the attacks on magic properly started, perhaps with mini!Arthur and mini!Merlin to keep us squeeing. But we all know they won't do it. #pouts#
