I'm definitely going to be working in a lot of elements of the actual X-Men (as you can see with Wyvern). But don't expect it to be predictable because of that. ;)
I look forward to writing and posting more about Camelot Academy, myself, and I hope you enjoy reading it just as much. This fic is AU, not crossover, and is British/Merlin-centric, so I probably won't really include the X-Men characters and such (to be honest, the main thing I DO include is the premise of mutants - otherwise, this is basically unrelated to the comic/movie/fandom).
I'm glad you like the Wyvern thing (would you believe me if I told you the Wolverine-Wyvern thing was an accident, and "Wyvern" was actually just a spur-of-the-moment decision? :P) Also, to be fair, the movie had to make money, and generally the higher your movie gets rated the less money you make (and the MPAA are a bunch of assholes who unfortunately have a lot of sway over the movie industry D: so I don't entirely blame the production team for pulling their punches, however much it sucks that they did).
