Building an (hopefully-to-be-published) Author Platform
I'm hoping to get myself published one day. In the mean time it seems prudent to try and build up a fanbase/authorbase/platform to improve my chances with literary agents and publishers.

All this to distract from the fact I've got a new novel idea and now may actually start over in NaNoWriMo.
