Eh - I tend to prefers stories with realism, even if it sacrifices some of the drama, as they hit harder home, emotionally. (Hence why Arthur still screamed in pain in Part 2 ;D).
And yeah, considering how much of a prick Arthur is, normally, I thought this might be one of the ways the people might see past that in Arthur and come to love him. And I'm glad you liked the banter between them. I re-wrote the dialogues at least three or four times over trying to get it right, so I'm glad it paid off!
