I'm glad you like the fic's realism. I was momentarily tempted to have Arthur completely silent, but I felt that would be unrealistic enough to take away from punch from the emotions of the fic.

Anyhoo... is it too nasty for me to say I want to see more Flogged!Arthur?

*laughs* Nah - the Merlin fandom is overloaded in hurt!Merlin, so I think people are happy and willing to see more hurt!Arthur. ^_^
