I picked it because it was the best fit. Merlin is trying to chase the mice away without hurting them - so dispel was correct. I never go for the top one but rather go through the entire list and pick the one that has the best feel or closest meaning.

The fic is a WIP and you actually read it. The mice thing was a throw away line. The story really doesn't have anything to do with mice. :P Although that would be a fun story to write. Especially if they objected. :D
