That was very sad....but very well written. My heart just ached for poor Merlin. Sadly, I see something like this being a far more realistic way for things to go with Merlin after everything that happened to him last season. Though I know the writers won't ever actually go that route on the show. Still, Arthur's warmth and love really shone through. This was beautiful but heart-breaking at the same time.
